Festival Volunteer

Help make the Festival the best Pride celebration! As a volunteer, you are the key to making this event a success!

Responsibilities may include festival setup, working entrances and exits, assisting and directing attendees, conducting monetary transactions, festival breakdown, and miscellaneous responsibilities. Please check-in at the Volunteer Booth at least 5 minutes before your shift.

Feel free to sign-up for more than 1 shift!

Parade Volunteer and Parade Cleanup

Deadline: Sep 12, 2026 7:30 am (GMT-07:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)

Join us at the CommUNITY Pride Parade!
In the Parade Volunteer role, you could help to direct participants and attendees at the staging area and/or along the parade route. Responsibilities may include setup, assisting and directing participants, and miscellaneous responsibilities.

In the Parade Cleanup role, you will be following the end of the parade and cleaning up the parade route and attendee viewing areas.

Please check-in at the volunteer tent on Downtown Virginia Street at least 10 minutes before your shift and be prepared to stay the entire time.

Hype/Marketing Volunteer

Deadline: Sep 12, 2026 8:00 pm (GMT-07:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)

Join us in being on the Hype Team for Pride! Morning Crew: Organizing and hanging banners, signage, and artwork. Helping make the festival grounds and parade route look fabulous.

Afternoon Crew: Maintaining banners and signage. Promoting the event via official social media. Taking photos and video to document the event. Celebrating PRIDE with spreading love, high fives, and hundreds of rainbow flags.

Closing Crew: Taking down and organizing banners, signage, and artwork. General awesomeness. Rules: Be awesome, don’t cut your hand, smile.

Please check-in at least 5 minutes before your shift.

Festival Bartender

Deadline: Sep 12, 2026 5:30 pm (GMT-07:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)

Help make the Festival the best Pride celebration! As a Bartender Volunteer, you are the key to making this event a success! Responsibilities include serving beverages to guests and keeping the bar area stocked with ice cold drinks.

As a volunteer bartender you MUST have your Alcohol Awareness card. This process must be completed prior to the event and you must carry the card with you while you are working your shift.
